Refunds/Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the terms regarding cancellations, rescheduling, payments, and refunds for bookings made with By Arisa (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking any service, course, or training, you agree to the terms below.

1. Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking date and trainer availability.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

2. Course Payments

  • Full payment must be made before the course start date unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing.

  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your place and loss of deposit.

3. Certification Requirement (Important)

Certificates are issued only after full payment has been received and once the student has successfully completed the course and met the required standards.

We reserve the right to withhold certification if:

  • payment is incomplete

  • required competency is not demonstrated

  • course attendance requirements are not met

4. Cancellations by Students

If you cancel your booking:

  • More than 14 days before training: Deposit is retained, remaining balance refunded if already paid.

  • Less than 14 days before training: No refunds will be issued.

  • Failure to attend: Full payment is forfeited.

5. Rescheduling

  • Students may reschedule once with at least 14 days’ notice.

  • Requests made within 14 days may not be accepted and payment may be forfeited.

  • Rescheduled dates must be used within 3 months of original booking unless agreed otherwise.

 

6. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule training due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • illness

  • emergencies

  • insufficient bookings

  • venue issues

If this occurs, you will be offered:

  • a new training date, or

  • a full refund

We are not responsible for additional costs such as travel or accommodation.

7. Digital Products

Online courses, digital downloads, or training materials are non-refundable once accessed or delivered.

 

8. Kits & Products

Training kits or products supplied with a course are:

  • non-refundable once issued

  • non-exchangeable unless faulty

 

9. Late Arrivals

Late arrival may result in reduced training time. If lateness prevents course completion, refunds will not be issued.

 

10. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse training without refund if a student:

  • behaves inappropriately

  • is disruptive

  • is under the influence of drugs or alcohol

  • fails to follow safety or hygiene instructions

 

11. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 working days using the original payment method.
